Statement
Yuta Tamura
Born and lives in Hyogo, Japan.
Under themes such as ‘self and others, being alive and memory’ I express them by using characters made of low-resolution pixels, similar to those in early video games. I believe that their characteristic low-pixel, very simple shape (body) has a universal form for expressing humans, and I explore their possibilities using a variety of expressive methods.
