Statement
Yuta Tamura Born and lives in Hyogo, Japan. I am currently making works using low-resolution pixel characters as motifs. This is related to my childhood in the 90s. The images of the many retro video games that I played with in those days continue to inspire me in my creativity.
I have been immersed in video games since childhood, so the fictional characters within them are just as real to me as people in the real world. I want to give these characters physicality and express them as beings that truly exist. This is also my way of showing affection for them.
